I said good-bye to my parents who were off at 8am to the airport of Calama for a plane at 11am to Santiago and then they would start going down south to Patagonia! We had spent 10 days travelling together in one of the most beautiful landscape of this world that was fun!
I went to the bus terminal and bought a ticket for the 7.15pm bus from San Pedro de Atacama to Calama.
Then I went back and spent most of the day sorting the thousands of photos I had taken during those last 10 days and preparing some blog articles. After the intense road-trip journeys we had had, it was great to chill out and not do much!
This cat was funny in the morning. Wanna take a bath, really?
Behind these windows is the area where we could plug in the computers and enjoy the WiFi. I spent most of that day there. They had made this funny warrior iron sculpture which back I could see from inside the room.
Around 6.30pm I went to the bus terminal and had an empanada here with WiFi.
WiFi, empanada and some company!
View from the San Pedro de Atacama to Calama bus before to shoot off.
Beautiful landscape at sunset.
Sunset
And off to Calama!
We passed through the desert de Sal.
Saw a bit of the valley de la luna again.
Nice colours after sunset.
The new moon in the sky.
I got to Calama and bought at the Atacama 2000 a ticket for the 6am bus going from Calama to Uyuni the next morning. Then I walked 5 minutes to Hostel Loa, dropped my bag in my room and went for dinner. Found a place serving chicken and fries and had that while watching some football game and enjoying some WiFi! Don`t we get addicted to WiFi, ahahaha. Then came back and went to bed around 10pm. Next morning, wake up at 5am for a 6am bus to Uyuni!
